GForce Axles have become synonymous with record breaking consistent performance and have proven to be the go-to solution for anyone looking to get the most from their factory driveline setup. Not all vehicles have an optimal design or the most ideal spline counts to boost strength, but you can be confident that GForce axles are engineered to be the absolute strongest possible to work within the space provided by the OEM manufacturer. GForce offers two different axles for most applications. If you would like to know which is best for your application, you can read more here: Renegade vs. Outlaw Axles Specific notes for 04-06 GTO/VZ: GTO CV axles (axle bar and CV assemblies) are designed to bolt up to factory outer stubs and either factory or GForce Level 2 inner stubs. Our GTO axles have a solid reputation as a replacement for weak factory axles while helping reduce axle related wheel hop, which has long plagued the GTO platform. Ultimately, the factory rear end will be the limiting component for making more power reliably, so if you are considering making well beyond 650hp, you might consider looking into our 9” conversion, which has helped customers make well into the 800-1000+ range, with a handful of cars up around 1500hp. Important to note that any axle can fail at a lower power level due to wheel hop or misuse. The listed numbers should not be an expectation, but an idea for capability. FitmentGForce axle shafts were manufactured based on OEM suspension. Aftermarket shocks, control arms, etc. may present clearance issues. If CV boots have clearance issues, low profile boots can be purchased at an upgraded cost. The low profile boots reduce the amount of available axle angle in comparison to the standard boots, so they are not ideal for lowered or high axle angle vehicles. CV joints are a wear item and will see wear over time, but with our current design, axles can be sent in for service. So boots, fasteners, and CV assemblies can be serviced without scrapping the complete axle assembly. It is up to each customer to establish their own maintenance intervals based upon the manner in which their car is driven. Individual inner or outer splined stubs and axle bars can be replaced as well if they twist or are damaged due to wheel hop or simply from power levels exceeding capability of the material. Not all vehicles have an optimal design or the most ideal spline counts to boost strength, but you can be confident that GForce axles are engineered to be the absolute strongest possible to work within the space provided by the OEM manufacturer.  Specific notes for 6.4L Jeep Grand Cherokee: The 6.4L Jeep uses a 32 spline inner stub and 32 spline outer stub – Customers who are trying to make as much power as possible might consider looking into what is required to swap over to the larger 6.2 Trackhawk wheel hubs. MUST USE aftermarket differential bushings or differential brace to help prevent damage to axles from excess rear end movement. Damage that occurs due to the stub not being seated fully will NOT be covered under warranty. It is important to understand that this is an exceptionally heavy vehicle, making a lot of torque with a steep 1st gear… These axles have served our customers very well, but it is important to realize that we are asking a lot of a 32 spline inner stub and 31 spline axle bar. These are the strongest components that we can make to work within the OEM specifications, but that does not mean they are bombproof. These vehicles are also very prone to wheel hop, which increases the likelihood of axle or driveline damage. We are planning options for a 9″ conversion down the road, but it will be more involved than our standard kits and will take more time to develop. We have numerous customers with the 6.2 Trackhawk 35 spline wheel hubs at 1100hp who haven’t hurt anything; We’ve had customers with numerous runs at 1400 who eventually hurt parts and customers as low as 750 who have hurt parts. Our average customer hovers around 900-950. At this level, it doesn’t take much of a mistake to hurt something if you strike the tires wrong.
